William A. Sherman has over 25 years of experience in real estate, operations planning, and business development, focusing mainly on sales and marketing. Since 1995, he has applied these skills to residential sales and commercial real estate development. Mr. Sherman possesses a thorough background in financial planning, real estate transactions, commercial and residential development, and deal negotiations.
A lifelong resident of New York City, Mr. Sherman has personally experienced the benefits of residential real estate investment and has helped his real estate clients make informed decisions about their own purchases. Applying his marketing and financial savvy with a consultative approach, he wins trust from his clients that their true interests are his priority.
Mr. Sherman has filled a variety of leadership roles at the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), is currently a member of REBNY’s Residential Board of Directors, and was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the REBNY MLS. Additionally, Mr. Sherman works with the leading internet and publishing companies on the creation of new services for the NYC real estate industry.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Sherman worked as an operations and marketing specialist for television, technology, and Internet companies. While working as analyst for investment bankers, Mr. Sherman evaluated and refined numerous plans for real estate development.
Mr. Sherman is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Electrical Engineering. In addition to his background in sales and marketing, Mr. Sherman’s engineering background brings a wealth of experience with construction, energy efficiency, green technologies, and more.
